Looking to Install Joomla on Bluehost? It’s The Best One Can Get

Tags: , , , , ,

One of the best possible associations when it comes to hosting websites is Bluehost Joomla. I say this because I’ve tried it and the installation process was way easier than I’d have ever imagined. I wanted Joomla although I’m a WordPress fan because I felt like trying something new. Besides, my intention is to develop a real estate portal where agencies would subscribe, so I thought it would be easier to manage a membership site in Joomla. It has a lot of helpful extensions that can ease the process of turning the site into a big community where users would interact and contribute. Speaking of WordPress, a friend of mine told me that I could have achieved the same with BBpress and Buddypress, but I didn’t want that solution because of a few reasons I’m not going to bore you with now.

So, sticking to the Joomla idea, I wanted to host that site with my usual provider. I had a very ugly surprise when he informed me that Joomla is on his blacklist because it’s a resource hog. Moreover, he asked me to give up WordPress as well and use static sites. I don’t want to use static sites, so I moved everything I had. This time I’ve chosen Bluehost and I am already impressed by my sites loading very fast and by those one or two click installs made possible by a software called Fantastico. It’s really fantastic this Fantastico and I’m so happy Bluehost offers it for free.

Joomla Template For Christmas Themed Stores

Tags: , , , , , ,

Christmas is that time of year when we think of our beloved ones and more than that: we buy them presents. Some of us are buying gifts because they simply enjoy giving, others buy because they know they’d receive gifts from their friends and they want to get even (as if that’s what friendship is all about)… well, parents buy gifts for kids, so everybody is spending more than usually.

There’s no wonder that so many online stores are fighting to get those people’s money. An online store needs to be appealing and functional, so customers enjoy browsing it and they quickly find their desired items, be them artificial Christmas trees or Santa suits, or just toys for boys and girls.

If your shop needs a facelift, there’s a free Joomla Christmas template which can make a difference in your online presence. So, if your site is Joomla driven, just go and download the template and give it a try. If not, you could consider switching to Joomla. It’s easier than you think ;)
